Nowhere near worth cost, 1/4/2013

Sue McKenna from Jasper, MN

Second season of use--would NOT buy again. Coldest temps last year were 11 below. While it is true it does not freeze solid, it creates a "cap" under the float and freezes in place. Highly overpriced for what you get.

Very Good Product., 12/25/2011

Roger from Belgrade,Me

I brought my insulated tank five years ago. Living in Maine when the temperature goes below 0 the water will freeze. I take a full pail of water and dump it into the tanks and in a few minutes the float will break loose and rise to the top at which time a take the float out turn it over and used a rubber mallet to the bottom side of the float to break off the ice that has frozen to the bottom if it. If you don't it the next night more water will freze to the bottom and the float will go deeper in the tank. You can guess what happen then. You will to chip to ice out. Along with the rubber mallet I use a kitty litter scoop and rubber gloves to take out the big ice chunks. In ten mintuesthe job is completed.

Highly recommend this product!, 2/5/2011

M Bolinger from Akron, OH

I bought this product nearly 3 years ago and highly recommend it. In Ohio, we have very cold temps. and each year it seems to get more extreme. We have had very little freezing. It's a great alternative if you don't have the access to electricity out in your pasture area and I look forward to being able to purchase more.

Perfect Waterer, 1/6/2011

Aurmelia Lovato from Clearmont, Wyoming

I bought a solar 25 Gal Solar Powered Water Trough Item #: BSA40 about two and a half years ago.I highly recommend this product: it is durable in all weather, does not freeze up, and is easier for horses, cattle, and wildlife to access with less waste than the automatic waterers with the ball.
