What a fantastic saddle. It has been years since I rode in an Abetta, and I have to say....when this saddle arrived, I was pleasantly surprised.
The saddle is SOLID, well-constructed, and it's comfortable for both my horse and I. The seat is grippy from the suede, and it's tall enough in the back to be comfortable/secure without feeling trapped. The stirrups and fenders have enough turn in them (even riding the first time) that your ankles won't tire, and you can ride for as long as you very well please. Both you and your horse will be happy.
I haven't had a chance to use all of the rings and strings for gear, but they are secured well into the saddle and ready to use.

Bought this saddle 2 years ago, and LOVE IT! My friend liked it so much, she bought one for her horse, too. I went on a 13 hour cattle drive a couple weeks ago, and there were no sore spots on me or my horse. Fits great, comfortable, very durable and lightweight. I love all the rings to attach extra bags, and the extra long strings are great for tying up my coat when it warms up. When I bought it on sale, it was almost $200 cheaper than it is now. I'm glad I bought it then, but its still worth today's price. Very nice!

I ordered the saddle and had it on my door just about a week later. Tried it on my mare yesterday and it fits perfectly. The Semi-Qh bars are exacly what I needed to fit my high withered Tennessee walker. The ties appear to be on there very well, and the stirrups are very nice.

I bought this saddle 3 years ago for my first pack trip into the wilderness. I rode 9 hours in the saddle the first day & love the extra thick cushioned seat. Have been packing with it ever since. All the extra rings & leathers are great for attaching saddle bags, gear etc. Very lightweight to carry & thus easier on the horse's back. So easy to care for - I just wipe it with a damp rag or sponge when it gets covered with trail dust. Still looks good with no evidence of wear or tear. Great value.
