Could I please have a list of recommended accessories for this saddle? I also need a bridle recommendation. She was a showhorse, so she is used to english saddle seat and snaffle, but I would like to get her out on the trails.

Best Answer: If your horse does well in a snaffle ( good response, good stop) then I would continue with it. I like to trail ride with a "little s" hackamore so my horse can easily graze if I stop along the way.
If your horse is not used to saddle bags alongside of him you might want to start small with extra gear. For this saddle, it's easy to clip a rounded bag against the back of it so that there is very little "extra" going on for your horse. I always trail ride with a breast collar, to help my saddle stay straight during longer rides when my horse is sweating and the saddle is more likely to slip. You might want to zip/unzip your saddle bag a few times before you head out so your horse gets used to that sound on his back. My horse got used to it alright; now he stops and turns his head around toward me, waiting, no matter where we are if he hears me unzip the trail bag, expecting a treat!
