Would this fit an Aussie saddle?
A shopper on Sep 21, 2013
Best Answer: Originally this was purchased to go with a bareback pad; but we have been using it with our western saddles. I see no reason why it could not be used with a stock seat saddle.

We have found this to be a good choice for trail riding giving a good cushion for the horse and wicks away the sweat much easier. Cleaning is easy also, I just soak it in a tub of sudsy water and rinse clean. I would buy it again if I needed to. The extra pockets come in handy too!

Is this contoured to stay off the withers?
A shopper on Nov 28, 2015
Best Answer: No, you would need more padding as this is a thin blanket. I love mine! and I use a thicker half pad with it.
