The blades are made from high-carbon steel and then processed through a revolutionary carbonizing heat treatment that adds carbon to the existing metal. Great blades!, 11/2/2011

I use the Andis size 10 to trim my horses-these really hold up and don't get so hot as some blades. I like that they hold their edge if they are kept clean. I have several different brands of blades in my box, for the price these are a good blade.

I AM A PROFESSIONAL PET GROOMER AND HAVE USE MANY SIZE BLADES. THEY ALL WORK WELL,FOR THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF CUTS YOUR WORKING WITH. THIS BLADE IS GOOD FOR OWNERS THAT DO NOT WANT ALOT CUT OFF THERE POOCH. GOOD FOR A NEATEN UP, AND OR TRIM.
