Ariat Ladies Barnyard Side Zip Boots

These durable paddock boots are built to withstand tough wear through any conditions. I need comfortable waterproof boots for the barn.

I love these boots! This was my second pair, I wore the first ones out after years of daily walks to the barn in snow, mud or whatever. The leather wipes clean, the tread doesn't collect mud like some boots and the zipper makes them quick on and off. I ride in them too, they have a spur rest on the back. They're Ariat comfortable and quality made. I see I bought them 4 years ago, and they are still worn daily and holding up well. If they go on sale I will probably buy a back up pair

I've been wanting these boots for a long time.

A lot of people mention they use this boot for around the barn. What about riding in them? I prefer to have a boot I can do multiple tasks in.
Allyson E on Jun 12, 2015
Best Answer: yes, that was one of the things I liked about these boots, however the zippers do not hold up and become unusable way before the rest of the boot wore out, I took them to a cobbler and it was more to repair then buy a new pair...I loved them, at first, but they did not even last 6 months...I have yet to find a dual purpose boot that lasts any length of time and they are very expensive to just have to throw away when 1 cheap part {in this case the zipper} wears out.

I have a wide foot , does this boot seem narrow or will it fit a wide foot ?
Christine A on Jun 12, 2014
Best Answer: It's not narrow but I wouldn't consider it wide either, I can measure them width wise for you if you'd like but they are at the barn and won't be there until this weekend as I'm out of town now. Id say if your food is mildly wide they'd be great but not for extremely wide... Hope this was helpful

sizing........Do these boots run true to size?
A shopper on May 15, 2015
Best Answer: For most of my adult life I have worn a size 6.5 ladies size. Just in the past few years I have needed to go up to a 7 as my foot has gotten a little wider and longer as I have aged. However, I have three pairs of Ariat boots and they are all size 6.5. The last pair I purchased was the Barnyard Side Zip Boots which I purchased in December 2014. They are also a size 6.5. So I would have to say that they run true to size but just a tad on the generous side. With the Barnyard Side Zip Boots I have ample space in the length and in the toe box to wear the thicker wool Smart Fit socks I prefer for all day athletic activities that put me on my feet all day. I have found that with Ariat I can depend on their sizing and can reliably order a 6.5 and expect it to fit.
