This jacket runs very small. I bought a large so there would be plenty of room for heavy sweaters or layered clothing underneath. It barely fit over a T-shirt. Also be aware that the chocolate color does not have the contrasting piping, it is solid brown. The jacket itself is very nice, but the Stateline website should be more detailed. I reordered in an X-tra large but had to pay shipping. Be careful before you order. The overall 3 stars was due to the Stateline Tack experience not the Ariat jacket.
