Best Answer: No, mine are not but I wish they were as I have to wear steel toes at work. I work at a rock quarry.

are the soles on these boots safe for riding?

Best Answer: They are safe for RIDING, yes. I've been in -20 degree weather and they've kept my toes warm as I work outside.
