this product is well made but there is no way to adjust the water level in the bowl. Half the time the water overflows

We had 4 hard plumed in to our kennel and they did not even last 1 1/2 years !! Just took them out last night and one is not rusted out of the 4. They were cleaned with a small shop vac and rag almost every day. They are hard to get the float adjusted and keep the water level where you want it. 1 over flowed from the first day others worked about 1/2 the time, but made a big mess in the kennel more than I want to remember in the last year. Yes they are cheap and will last about a year. We are going to try to sand down and repaint them and use them for out side summer waters ??? Ordering stainless steel waters with removable pan for $120 each now!

This item works very well except over time it eventurally rusts and the bowl will leak. I have over twenty horses so it gets expensive to replace them every year or two.

Because these waterers are made of steel they rust. The paint flakes off into the water that the horses drink. The horses do drink from these waterers. If they were made of poly or hard plastic I would buy them again, however replacing them every year is expensive when you have 5 horses.

I bought 3 units about 2 years ago for my 3 stalls. They are now very rusted and it is very difficult to adjust the water level.

Bought two a while back to place for my horses when theirs {very old} couldn't be repaired any longer. One of the old ones rotted out the whole back and fell off the mount this morning so I used one of the new ones to replace it. Easy to mount and plumb and easy to keep clean if you stay with it. Sell for just under $50 locally, so I have to stock up on these, we have 65 horses on the ranch.

I use these for all our animals. Horses, dogs, chickens and turkeys. Easy to clean with just a sponge.
