I use this halter to give baths to my 17hh QH gelding with an (average) sized head and he doesn't mind it! even dripping wet the blue suits him well. I recommend this to anyone for any use! Nice price too

i just got this halter in lime green and im in love. nice heavy soft nylon and the hardware is amazing! i made this a break away by buying replacemend breakway fold over's with the scews, cut off the little nylon part connecting the snap ring to the adjustable strap and attached the leather piece, now i have a beautiful and safe halter for turn out, i'd recomend doing that if u buy this halter! its excelent quality!!

this halter is very nice, but in the picture, the snap is gold, but when i recived it mine was silver. its not a big deal though, my bay morgan mare looks gorgeous in the green. overall, nice halter.

I had no trouble with fitting, and the blue looks great on my black/white paint. The only thing I thought was weird was the buckle, not the throatlatch, the buckle was kind of weak, and if my horse got caught on something and bent it, the halter would be ruined. But otherwise, its pretty good for the price!

This halter barely fits my dad's quarter horse when it's on the smallest hole! And his horse’s head is big. This halter fits our Belgian half draft and he takes on the Belgian head (a huge draft head) so disappointed wanted this halter for an average horse. Not worth it to even send back cause of the price.

Bought the red one of these halters about 5 months ago. Very nice bold colors. It has been my horses main halter, and I have never had an issue with the throat snap. It snaps open and closed like any other normal halters would. Its super easy to clean. Just through it in the washer, or dip it in some water and let it air dry. The material is a bit stiff but nothing to really complain about. I would def buy another one of these halters. Thanks StateLineTack

The snap on the throatlatch breaks on every single one of these halters I own. not easily replacable and useless without throatlatch. A waste of your money - you'll have to get a new halter in less than 1 year.

I bought this halter a year age for my daughters paint horse and he absolutely loves it and he looks so cute. This is a great halter for the peice. So if you want a great halter for a great price get this on e it will last a long time!

We ordered this item as an emergency halter, or a back up one. Unfortunatly, thats all we WILL use it for. It is made of a rough, horrible material, like a seat belt, except so much rougher. there is no way ANYBODY will ever be able to undo the throat snap. Even men have tried to open it. I havent put it on a horse yet, so I'm not sure of the fit.The quality is really bad. Its a dollar store halter, I think. Its not even made in the USA. The max i would ever pay for this is $5. The throatlatch is a waste of money and hardware because it doesn't even work. But for the price, it will be an ok emergancy halter.

Great Value for the Money, 8/1/2007

I purchased two of these halters, one for a quarter horse and one for a Tennesee walker, 15.1 and 15.3 hands, respectively. They fit fine and are comfortable for the animals. There are buckles on both sides for extra adjusting capabilities. Embroiderd halters generally start at $25 and go up from there so, this is a great buy. I am very pleased with purchase.
