Cotton reins are easiest to work with, swivel attachment to bit is important to not get twists, length allows for long line longing also.

These are 45' long but the reviewer above gripes that they are too short & he was definitely in range of a kick... how big is his horse?

Best Answer: My experience has been that they are a little long but that's better than too short. We have no issues with being too close to the hind feet unless you want to be and we have used them on 16 plus hand TBs.
