Rated 5 out of 5 by Use with Cribbing Muzzle I use this product with the Basic Vinyl Bar Cribbing Muzzle (also sold here). This halter fleece set fits that muzzle perfectly for anyone looking to replace the fleece on that particular muzzle. April 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Buy! I was looking into buying these recently because I have an Arab mare and her hair/skin is very delicate. She tends to rub hair off quickly if I have the halter on for a little while. So anyhow...I looked a local tack shop near me and one piece was $13! The crownpiece was even more...$15. These are just as soft and work just a good and for a small fraction of the cost of what it would have been to get 4 pieces for her halter seperatly. Definetly recommmend!!! April 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great buy! I bought this for my Paint Gelding. I ride him in a side pull bitless bridle, and the rope on the rose rubs him a little, so I put this on the nose band and it works great. Also helps him not look at the ground so much when I'm on a trail. December 11, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by creature comfort. my horse wears his halter a lot, and I feel really bad about his poor nose and behind his ears getting rubed. I have about five sets of these and interchange them as needed when they get dirty/wet. It's just something extra you can do for your horse to make him feel more loved. July 12, 2010

Looks nice on horse! ?
A shopper on Nov 13, 2014
Best Answer: Yes! It looked nice, but only briefly, not due to the product though. Most of my horse's things are hunter green. Bought the set in green after he was getting a rub on his nose. He looked really sharp until lying down--the shavings stuck to it--and then his pasture mate turned pulling on the pieces into a game on the days the boarding stable left his halter on. This reminds me though--I'll probably buy another fresh set soon and start all over again. For the price--can't beat it. Shavings will stick to any set, so you might as well buy an inexpensive one like this instead of a real shearling set so you can swap it out when it looks bad.

How do you put it on?
A shopper on Nov 22, 2015
Best Answer: Every piece has Velcro edging so you just open it, wrap it around the halter and pinch the Velcro back.

Has anyone bought the green?? Is it hunter green? or just kind of hunter green?
A shopper on Jul 5, 2015
Best Answer: I bought hunter green. It was somewhat dark. Definitely not pine green dark. Over time, it lightened a bit. Wish I could attach a photo for you! I was pleased. It's a good deal.
