My horse being young struggled just a bit - the nylon tore through at the holes. Only one use.

We bought 2 pair of these hobbles and since the 2nd time using them they keep coming un-buckled. They are not well built in our opinion.

The concept is great, but in reality, these hobbles' thin nylon and fleece is a joke, especially when paired with the heavy duty hardware. The hardware is impressive but without strong material attached to them, the hobbles are useless. My horse destroyed ours on the first try and he is hobble broke! Since they don't perform, the price is sky-high

I purchased these and a set of the felt lined to train my horse (14hh foxtrotter) to stand while I get one. She pulled a little to test them then took a step and pulled the holes out where they buckle closed. They are THE worst made hobbles I've come across and do not recommend anyone purchasing them. They are weak and the fleece doesn't extend around the buckle area to protect your horse.

i put these on my mare and she immediatly pulled the holes out where it buckles. i felt like they were too big for her canon bones and too long. she is 16.3 by the way. i had thought they snapped togather to create the hobble so they could be put on at the barn, and fastened togather in the trailer. - my mare paws. oh well... will look for a different style/brand
