I'm still on the fence..., 9/7/2012

Kori from Albany, OR

This is a great priced bit, and when I received it I was shocked at the fact that it was a pretty decent quality; however, the shanks are a little short, as they don't even get past her nose, and my mare doesn't seem to like it as much as the D-ring snaffle, although she does tolerate it with minimal fuss, but she plays with it allot and has managed to get the shanks in her mouth a few times. My gelding on the other hand, who I didn't buy it for, loves it and doesn't have a problem with it. SO as in everything it depends on the horse.

Mouth measurement was not correct, 8/11/2012

PJ from Garden Valley, CA

I have bought bits like this one in the past from this company and this bit was too narrow. The other 5 in mouth bit fit fine on the same horse.

Love This Bit, 6/30/2012

Whitney from OR

My little mustang mare hated any bit I used on her, ran straight through the D rings, she is so soft and responds really nicely to this bit. I highly recomend it!

Not great, but not bad, 6/25/2012

Somone from MO

When received the black had been scraped on the shank, but otherwise in fine condition. Neither of my two horses liked it, so it isn't fit for *all* horses. I suggest buying it to try out the mouthpiece, and if your horse doesn't like it, put it on the shelf to try it on another horse.

Wonderful bit!, 11/28/2011

jenny from denver, co

My four year old Arabian hated every bit I put in his mouth until I found this one. He is so soft and responsive. I will not be moving from this bit for a long time. I also tried it in my new 18 yr old Arabian, and he stopped chewing on the bit almost altogether and started to listen! Great bit!

Awesome Bit!!, 9/18/2011

emily from Vancouver, BC

I've used this bit on horses that were broke to death, and my green horse. It works for everything! The copper makes the horses mouth soft too, which is great and made my horse turn great! Super great price for such an amazing bit!

Awsome!, 7/18/2011

Carla from Bakersfield, Ca

I was lucky enough to stumble onto a bit just like it while working for a horse trader, not the best background:) Anyhow I was able to use it on many many different horses, not all were broke, but those that were never had problems with the bit. I found my own throught state line about 10 years ago, still the best bit I have. I have even talked the neighbors into one, and they are ready for a second one so both horses can have their own. :) We love this bit.

awesome!, 3/5/2011

kristin from CA

my horse does not work well in a plain D ring snaffle, and the bits with the longer shank are too rough for my preference. this was the perfect midpoint we've had ours for a few years and it is a little rusted but still works perfectly for her.

Nice Bit, 3/3/2011

Jamie B from Myakka City, FL

This bit has helped my filly tremendously; she's light in the mouth but when frustrated she tries to run through the bit. This bit resolved that problem & now she keeps her head set & stays behind the bit.
