Does it breath well for hot summer days?
Luvmybuckies on Aug 7, 2014
Best Answer: I can't say with any certainty. On really hot, humid days she does have some sweat when I remove her sheet (I remove and spray it off each day.) This has been the least hot summer in Oklahoma in the forty odd years we have lived here. We have only had one day that reached a hundred degrees. But ninety-five in OK is brutal... The sweat I have found has been minimal, in my opinion.

My guess is that the sheet does restrict air flow to some degree, but that negative, I believe, is far outweighed by the protection it offers from bugs and the sun.

for those of you who have had this fly sheet for a summer, does it really work, does it fit well and last?
vandi r on Apr 6, 2015
Best Answer: My TB is very sensitive to bug bites and swells with each one. When he wears fly sheets other than this one, he has many more bites all over his body and many more lumps. I bought my first Bucas Zebra last year and now purchased another to use as a backup for washing the other. He wears it 24/7 when not being ridden and is in a paddock or pasture all summer. Never have had a problem with it coming off or twisting, unlike other brands.

my horse wears a weatherbetta 81 blanket how do these fit?
A shopper on Jun 29, 2015
Best Answer: Measuring Instructions - Stand your horse as square as possible, measure from the center of chest around side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If you horse ends up measuring between sizes always round up to the next size to ensure full coverage.

-If your horse measures an 81, we would recommend ordering that size.
