Waste of Money, 9/11/2011

This product is made of poor materials and is dangerous. It broke after two weeks of use. One of the welds broke and cut my horse's face. The metal is so soft that I can bend it by hand so it isn't sturdy enough for horses. Sending them back costs more than they do, but the injury cost me even more.

I have a gelding who thinks its fun to splash water from his bucket. In warm weather I use the fortiflex bucket holder which does the trick. Since it can only be used with the fortiflex buckets needed a new solution for heated bucket in winter. This holder is a bit small. I can use it but the bucket won't fit all the way to the bottom as pictured here. Our stall is too tall to hook it over so I had to straighten the metal in the back and screw straight to the stall wall. Plenty sturdy. Fine for the price.

too small for buckets, 12/12/2010

I purchased two of these for my 5 gallon heated water buckets. Unfortunately, the bucket holders are too small to hold the 5 gallon heated buckets and are way too small for my 6 gallon regular water buckets. Can't really return them as the shipping to send them back would cost about the same as the purchase price...

I bought this bucket holder for a filly who loves to toss her bucket and spill her feed. She destroyed the holder within 30 days. It came apart in two places at the welded seams. It won't hold up for a horse that gets aggressive with a feed bucket. Buying this was a waste of money.
