I bought these for my trailer and left them in there, within a month they were deteriorated and falling apart, they were not exposed to weather or use, they just fell apart!

If your horse pulls back, these will be perfect for maybe blinding him or causing permanent fear of cross-tying when he freaks out and snaps them. Go for them at your own risk. Not worth it at any price.

Dangerous :(, 12/27/2011

I have a thoroughbred that pulls back when he is tied. I had him there for a while where he would tie perfectly fine as long as he could move his head around, so one day i bought this product. I thought that before i went to tie him in the trailer with it i would try it out in his stall so it didnt become a big problem on the road... and it didnt last for one minute. i was grooming him and left his stall to go get my shedder, when all of a sudden i hear this loud, banging sound! naturally i run to his stall to find him pulling back! when i reach for the quick-release, it not only doesnt release, but the bungee part snapped and the metal bull snap whipped back and hit him in the face!! now he is scared of tying, and i wasted $15. Very disappointed. I would definently not recommend this tie.
