Cashel Nylon Off Billet Can it be used as a back cinch?
A shopper on Jul 15, 2015
Best Answer: This is a off Billet, the off side or other side, that the cinch is connected to.....so if you were to measure the off billet or even remove the one you now have on your saddle you would be able to answer the question. However if you now have a leather off billet it is much thicker than the nylon. I keep these on hand so if when doing a pre-check before riding if the leather is worn I can replace and not miss going for a ride.

Do these nylon billets have smooth holes without scratchy underneath the holes... I have found lots of nylon billets do. The ones that came with my saddle have them and they could irritate your horse.?
Trish on Jun 22, 2015
Best Answer: I have not had a problem like that with the ones I purchased, but I don't ride as much as I used to, so that may be one reason I haven't. The times I have ridden, I rode for several hours each time and never had the problem you described.
