Great Mask!, 1/2/2013

My thoroughbred loves this mask as well as I do! I actually use it on him in his outside paddock and it really keeps the flies off plus he can see better with this mask! The other stiffer ones when they get holes in them at eye level tend to poke him in the eye. If this one gets a hole there which has been 1 time out of the total 5 years I've used it, it is easy to repair. It washes nicely and dries quickly!

Not Buying Again, 6/28/2012

My mare hates flys and ths fly mask doesn't help well. It's not durable and rips easily. You also have to tighten it very much in order for it to fit, yet it still falls off and when she rolls it comes of very easily. When we ride in it she cannot see well. It's to close fitting and the mesh rubs up on her eyes unlike most fly masks that have it sewn so its not touching or bothering there eyes and face. overall very unhappy with this mask.

Flies drive my mare absolutely crazy, this mask definitely helps out! The only thing I would say is that it took her a while to get used to riding with it because it made everything darker for her (making her a little jumpy), but now that she's used to it she's fine. I really like how the mesh is finer than regular fly masks to keep even the littlest gnats out.

A must for a trail rider , 11/23/2011

This product is great! My mare would shake her head and just be driven nuts with flies around her head and ears. Well, I used this and wow what a world of difference. The people I ride with are probably going to be getting some. The only issue I had which was my fault, it was starting to get dark out while we were riding and she was seeing shadows and that was making her a little jumpy. So that was my fault not hers. I would still buy it again after learning my dumb mistake. Hope my review helps some folks out.
