Why did you choose this?
Can i use it in the summer?
Best Answer: I guess it depends on your part of the country, the temperature. and the depth or your horse's coat. If it is below 50--60 degrees and your horse is sweaty from exercise, I would put it on for 45-60 minutes to help absorb sweat while s/he also does some cool-down walking. Or you could use it for light blanketing for trailering on a chilly morning or evening. I live in Missouri and we use this more in winter after exercise. Otherwise, I do not blanket any part of the day. This is a very nice product.
Are they easy to wash?
Best Answer: I haven't had to wash mine yet but I have a front loader washing machine and I don't have any reservations about putting it in there when the time comes. It is very well made.
Can these be embroidered?
Best Answer: I did not embroider the black one we purchased, although I would not hesitate having it done. I don't think the stretch fabric would hinder me. It is a very nice looking cooler. I was very pleased with the purchase.
What material are these blankets, looking for something super light to keep the dust of the horses during an indoor ?
Best Answer: I can't say for sure what material other than a synthetic. It feels like a soft brushed light weight flannel on the inside with a more silky finish on the outside. I wouldn't say that this is super light but it is light compared to others. I use it for cool down after an indoor riding session. For that it works quite nicely. I like the blanket very much.
I need a 94" mesh fly sheet. Is there any company that could make one?
Best Answer: We do offer the Kensington Draft Fly Sheet, if that will work for you. We have them still available this season in a couple sizes. You might also try Googling draft horse fly sheets.
I want to order a large horse size but don't see anything but "horse" size here. How do I order a "large horse" size?
Best Answer: This item is in the process of being discontinued, and unfortunately we only have the cob and horse sizes left.
