Comfort for my horse

This pad's picture makes the built-up part look far back towards the loins, not immediately behind withers & shoulders where my horse needs padding. Do you have a better picture, or a more detailed description of the pad's topography or changes in thickness?

Best Answer: I have used this pad for about 2 years on a TB which I use for trail riding. I have nothing but praise for this pad. I have used it for short day rides and 5 day rides, covering up to 26 miles in a day. With the cutback you can adjust the pad a little but I have had no problem. It is built up about 1.5 inches from the front to the back with not change in thickness throughout its length. I have found that the built-up part works very well with my thin withered horse.

Is this show quality for an open show?

Best Answer: I don't know what your competition will be using but I use the pad for trail and pleasure riding and it works great. The pad looks good but you may want a little more "bling" rather than the plain green one I bought.
