3/4" 100% wool felt top absorbs shock. 1/2 closed cell foam bottom is antifungal and antibacterial, and allows the horses back to cool itself. Cut out over withers and contoured to fit your horses back with a split design that allows the pad to move with the horse. Designed to be used alone. Cut out in cinch area for a closer fit for the saddle.

Terrible Pad !!!!!!!!!!!Separated from foam, 10/25/2012

we have other Classic Equine pad and products. This one has completly separated from foam and felt. This is a junk pad. !!!!!!!!!!!!

came apart in less than a season, 10/16/2012

I bought this 3/4 wool w/ 1/2 closed cell thinking it would be better than the 3/4 closed cell 1/2 inch wool from classic equine. THE WOOL AND THE FOAM CELL SEPARATED AND THE THREADS BROKE AT THE WITHERS. WOULD NOT BUY THIS AGAIN. I have bought 3 of the $125.00 with 3/4 foam and 1/2 wool from classic equine w no problem. But this one is junk.
