Is the green color more of lime/light/neon green, or a darker/hunter kind of green?
msnap12 on Nov 14, 2013
Best Answer: It is none of those, but more of a normal, true green. I like the color. I also like the halter very much. It is sturdier and has lasted longer than I expected it to. My horses do not pull back, so my halters have not been "tested" in that way, but they are great for normal use. The padding definitely protects the nose and behind the ears. A younger horse nibbled on the nose and cheek pieces of her mother's halter and tore little chunks of the padding out, but the halter was still strong and the padding still protected the mare's face. Try it, you'll like it!

I have an arab, what size would he be? I would say average.. but I am used to cob/full, he usually fits a full or arab, what size would I get?
Maddie F on May 3, 2014
Best Answer: I happen to think these are great but run a bit large. It depends on how large your arab is. my horse is in that in between and love this halter but when he goes in the pasture he tends to lose this halter when he plays with others. It slides right over his ears even on the tightest setting. The padding is great but nice and slick for sliding over the ears. one great thing is that it never rubs any part of his face that some halters will do. Great product but better for a qtr horse head with the average size and haven't tried one size smaller so can't comment on that one.

Which is bigger: the pony size or the small?? Everyone is saying this halter runs so big, what size should I buy for my 1000 lbs Haflinger??
msnap12 on Nov 14, 2013
Best Answer: I bought the small size for my 13-14 hand paso finos (usually I get a Cobb or arabian size for them) and they fit perfectly, maybe even snug. I would guess the "small" means a smaller horse and the "pony" would be smaller. Unless your Halfinger has an unusually small head, I'd go with the "small" or even the "average".

Is the noseband adjustable?
A shopper on Aug 4, 2015
Best Answer: No, it is not adjustable. I love these halters and have several of them. They last longer than I expected, too. They are very comfortable on the horses.

Regarding colors…Are the halters black with the actual color in the middle stripe?
Richelle on Sep 17, 2014
Best Answer: The color is in the middle. It's a nice halter for the price. I've had mine for a couple of years and would recommend purchasing it.

I've bought these twice now. On one order, the green was an emerald green. Then on the other order, the halters were a dark hunter green. Why is this? Are there two types of green? Or did the halter change?
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
Best Answer: Shades of green can vary by dye lot in each shipment we receive.

I have a "large" miniature horse (30" with a blocky head) and the Weaver large mini halters just do not fit her properly - I was thinking of getting the pony size on this halter -- is this a good alternative? I already own one for my American Paint and after two years, it is STILL PERFECT!
A shopper on Nov 16, 2014
Best Answer: Yes! This is a great halter. I've had mine for about 2 years and it is still in awesome condition! I highly recommend it.

I bought 2 of these but sizes are too big , don't remember what I ordered . For a Quarter mare , what's the right size ?
Angy Q on Jan 10, 2014
Best Answer: My 4 QH horses all use the regular size. And they vary in size. It is very durable and in my personal opinion, it was made for QHs, Thoroughbreds, and Tennessee Walking Horses! So I would recommend the regular sized!!!
