This is a great cotton lead rope for use with miniature horses. Don't think it would be good with big horses.

I got the grey(silver) and black lead just last week. It was really pretty, though a little bit shorter than I had realized. Well, my husband took it to retrieve my horse from the pasture and came back with a broken lead! He said it just broke, with no barely any resistance from my horse. The rope fell right out of the clasp!

This product is gret! I bought the blue and white one and it has last me more then two years and it still looks like new! Also if you pick the right color it goes perfect with your horse! My horse Jayda has pulled back on it a few times and it stayed together! You get your moneys worth.

This rope is soft and durable. the end frays a little but that is natural. The colors are cute and i have gotten lots of complements. 6 feet feels short though, if you want to do ground work with a lead rope, i recommend a 10 foot or longer lead.

Initially, I like the lead soft and bright, I thought it would work well. Not a safe lead...my horse pulled back briefly while tied and the snap, applied to hold the buckle on, broke instantly. It was the first time Id used the lead, and my horse doesnt normally pull back. The snap snap clip isnt actually attachec to the lead, so its not a safe feature. For the price, you get what you pay.

This lead is great for leadlining horses with young inexperienced riders. Im a NARHA certified instructor and we use these in our lessons. These leads are short enough that our leaders dont have to grapple with long lead ropes and that makes it much safer that a 9ft or 10ft one.

This is solid rope, with a slightly bigger snap than comparable ropes. Comes with a knot on the end that is removeable. Great leadrope for the price. Weve had 100s of cotton ropes over the years and they are too soft to last! This ones a bargain and great for big barns that need lots of ropes!
