I first picked one of these up at the Kentucky Rolex back in 04. I got a few more for so the other horses can have freedom while on a trail ride or workout. During the time the bugs are out I use this everyday. My horse is just fine with it and best thing ever, I dont have to worry about spraying fly spray on their face!

I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE MY HORSES LOVE TO STAND OUTSIDE WHEN ITS SNOWING AND SOMETIMES I NOTICED THAT THEIR EARS ACTUALLY WERE CAKED WITH FROZEN SNOW, THESE WORKED GREAT TO KEEP THE SNOW FROM FREEZING ON THERE EARS, I ORIGINALLY THOUGHT OF USING THEIR FLY MASKS BUT DID NOT WANT TO COVER THERE EYES.THEY TUMBLE DRY WELL TO

I love this thing. My mare is very sensitive to flies and they drive her crazy but with this (sprayed with fly spray) they never come near her and she is happier on the trail!

I have been using these for over 8 years in Northern MN where the deer flies can be horrible. I actually spray it with fly spray before putting it on and its great for the many miles of trail riding we put on!

Not only is this crocheted ear net adorable, it is also easy to wash, soft to the touch, and really works! My horse and I are in the woods all the time and this little bonnet keeps her safe from terrible deer flies. Even if the flies land on it, they still dont touch her. or, you could put some fly spray on it too.

This product may look a bit odd but it works wonders for keeping deer flies and other flying insects off my horses ears during trail rides. I saw this on a friends horse and ordered two from Stateline for my own horses.

I use the crocheted fly bonnets on my driving horses to combat the irritating yellow deer flies that always attack while we are out. My horses are much happier now!
