Why did you choose this?
Statelinetack.com Store
I have used this product for 5 years and it works great. I try to never run out of the spray, plus it is a much better price than our local farm supply store.

Is this safe around dogs, cats and especially birds?
Thank you
Patricia

Best Answer: We used this in our barn, which is very well ventilated, and never had an issue with it negatively effecting our horses, barn cats, or dog. We don't have many birds in the barn, so I really couldn't speak to that, but I think this is generally a very safe product, especially if it is used in a well ventilated area.

Does anyone know if this product is safe around chickens?
A shopper on Jul 30, 2015
Best Answer: Sorry don't know about Chicken Safety but I can tell you I ordered a rayer unit and it sucks! The old model had a way to set how often it went off and a power light so you could see if it was on and working. What I got when I bought 2 new ones was a stripped down version with none of those features. It is also VERY difficult to get the can of spray lined up inside the unit and almost impossibile to get it out when empty! The spray itself is great BUT I would NOT reccommend the new metered sprayer!

We have a1600 sq foot barn with 3 stalls How many are advised ? The barn remains closed most of the time with exception to the 3 stalls which are open all of the time. Also I see no difference in the Mosquito/fly spray and the fly spray except price and you can't buy the Mosquito/Fly spray individually.

Best Answer: I use 1 sprayer in each stall and 1 in the center aisle. Works well. I like the fly spray better. I find it works better than the mosquito & fly spray. I think they changed there formula this year because it smells different. I buy the spray by the case to last most of the summer. Works really well this year and I'm in Florida.
