Why did you choose this?

I like that it doesn't "HUG" my horses body. Lets air flow through, and although not top of the line in quality, for $24. dollars, if it lasts 2 months, I've gotten my money's worth. 3 weeks later it is holding up fine! I will probably buy a few more for next season.

This has been a very nice fly sheet, have had it 2 summers now, used on multiple horses and has held up well and works great! Affordable, functional and durable! Thumbs up on this buy.

THEY WORKED WELL, JUST DIDN'T LAST LONG! THEY WERE ON PASTURE HORSES AND ONLY LASTED ONE WEEK! THEY ARE NOW IN THE TRUNK OF MY CAR?

how do i determine the correct size to purchase?
A shopper on Jun 13, 2015
Best Answer: Measuring Instructions - Stand your horse as square as possible, measure from the center of chest around side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If you horse ends up measuring between sizes always round up to the next size to ensure full coverage.

does it hold up well to wear an tear (turn out)?
RENEE L on Feb 27, 2014
Best Answer: I guess that will depend on how much your horse plays, rolls, and rubs against things in the pasture during turnout. If he plays hard or is one of those "itchy" horses constantly rubbing on gates, etc., I don't think this would hold up well. For the price, though, it's hard to beat!

I can say that I have used this for my horse for 2 years for turnout during the summer, and it doesn't have anything more than a small snag. He did not wear the sheet every day, and it was removed at least twice a day for grooming/riding. My gelding is an older, quiet type who did not play much while wearing this, but it did hold up well through his usual rolling. The mesh is fine and it is very lightweight; it's not the more durable plastic-like mesh of the Kensington sheets, but it is also significantly cooler.

Hope this helps!
