I bought this blanket last year. Putting on a rubber gasket solved the strap problem but the blanket wasn't even a month old and it ripped right where the solid color meets the plaid...about 18inches. The solid color material is very thin and I would not purchase this brand again.

looks and feels good. keeps the horse happy warm and dry. when it gets warm and i take it off she is still cool to the touch in 65 degree weather. only complaint... if a horse grabs and pulls it falls apart like tissue paper. still need to repair. but still like the product. just learned a lesson :)

I bought 4 of these blankets for my 4 guarter horses. all four blankets have held up well over the winter. They wear them a lot but only while they are in their stalls. I find that the belly straps do not stay fastened. Whe I go out in the morning to fee, generally all four blanket's belly straps are undone and hanging on the ground. The biggest thing I am frustrated with is the removable hood has rubbed all four of my horses manes off from the bottome quarter of their neck down. I am thinking it must be the elastic straps that hold the hood to the blanket that is doint it. I am very disappointed with this. I will no longer use the hood portion of this blanket any more because of this.

ALthough the price is enticing, I had the same issues others had with the belly straps coming undone all the time. Now sending it back because it ripped at the seam where the back belly strap is attached. Spend a little more and get quality. Now I'm looking for one with 5 star reviews!

This blanket buckles always come undone and it ripped at seem at least 8 in in length where the plaid material connects to the black. Got two weeks of wear, I will never buy this brand again!!!!

Ripped after 1 day from Parkersburg, WV
Purchased this product to keep my clipped TB nice & cozy. He wore it one day, was turned out in the indoor long enough to clean his stall and the neck cover ripped. Out in the indoor today, the chest ripped. Horrible product. Very unhappy.

When buying theses blankets i was so excited because they are the combo and they are cheaper then most. But I bought two blankets one for my quarter horse and other for my thoroughbred and both of them ripped the bottom where the hind straps were. Which I thought was odd but both of them did it they seem to be made nice at the top but around the bottom the material is super thin and rips easy not let alone that it was tangled on them.

This is a great product. Its waterproof and works well, nice and warm too. The only thing I personally don't like about it is that the neck cover slides down. The other blanket I have is a true hood and goes over their head but this slips down a little so it doesn't cover their whole neck. Sizes are good and I bought it when it was still 80.99 and that was a great deal, but this price, 89.99 is pretty good too.

I bought two of these blankets for my two mares. I was happily surprised when I received the blankets to see the extra features. The neck cover is quite generous, there is elastic on the straps so they have a little "give" to them, and the tail cover can be removed. The blanket fit my horses as if it were custom made. Really a heck of a buy PLUS FREE SHIPPING! Very pleased.
