Defender® Fleece Cooler Line

Lightweight multi-purpose fleece cooler is designed to be used as a traveling sheet, stable sheet, blanket liner and for cooling out your horse.

Features:

  • 100% Polyester Fleece - Anti-pill fleece designed to quickly wick away moisture from your horse to help prevent chill from drafts and breezes.
  • 420 Denier Nylon Front Shoulder  - Contoured for a stylish look that provides additional support and prevent the sheet from stretching.
  • Heavy Nylon Binding - Double sewn to secure material and provide additional durability.
  • Open Front Single Buckle Closure - Durable nylon single buckle front with stainless steel hardware.
  • Hidden T-Lock Surcingle - Adjustable Surcingle is hidden so the cooler can also be used as a liner with a blanket features stainless steel T-Lock closure.
  • Rear Darts - Designed to create a contoured fit and help to keep the cooler positioned on the horse.
  • Rear D-rings - Includes D-Rings for optional leg straps which can be purchased separately.
  • Tail Cord - Helps to secure rear in place and prevent shifting.

Specifications:

  • Measuring Instructions - Stand your horse as square as possible, measure from the center of chest around side of the body to the point of the horse's rump just before the tail. If you horse ends up measuring between sizes always round up to the next size to ensure full coverage.
  • Washing Instructions - Machine wash with warm water – Gentle cycle with mild detergent. Air Dry or Machine Dry/Low Heat.

This is such a great coler! My mare ges out without a blnket, so she get's soaked from the rain/snow. I throw this on her for 10 or so mintures and she is compleatly dry! It's an amazing cooler! I can turn her out in it and she can roll with no problem! I love he velcrow in the fround too!

BEAUTIFUL SHEET, 1/6/2013

This sheet is so much darker and beautiful in person. My mare loves it and it fits her perfectly. I was very pleased that mine even included back straps. This works great as a cooler or liner. I even use it as a stable sheet on brisk nights. Incredible price for such a nice item.

I like this cooler a lot. I used it after our show to help cool my gelding down and it worked great and stayed dry. He even wore it in turnout for a few days and it would always dry quickly after the morning dew.This blanket is good quality for the price. It does look a bit long on my 15 hand Appendix gelding so as far appearance it would be more flattering on a taller horse. It doesn't look bad though. It does run a little tight in the shoulders. My horse would normally take a 69 inch but I ordered a size up so that it would a comfortable fit for his shoulders. Good blanket for the price!

Wonderful under sheet!!!, 11/30/2012

I wanted something to put under my mare's turn out sheet. It does a great job of keeping her dry and works wonderfully ventilating any heat release if she every gets a bit to warm. She hasn't broken a sweat in it yet!!! Also fits to a T! Love it and highly recommend it!

Tight through the shoulders, 2/29/2012

This blanket fits small, especially through the shoulders. Not a bargain when you have to pay shipping three times! Very disappointed with State Line Tack on this item.

This is the second Defender item I have bought and I like this sheet as much as the turnout. The sheet is true to the size and so warm and soft. I like the construction....very durable buckles and straps and the color I ordered is just beautiful(green)!

I got this in purple as a Christmas present for my Morgan mare. I wanted something to ride with to keep her cozy when it's 30 degrees and to block the chilly winter wind. I love this blanket! Unlike other blankets, if she starts sweating under this one it breathes and cools her off quick but still keeps her warm. For whatever reason, it fits her around the shoulders a little funny and unlike the picture, there are two straps in the chest, not one. Overall I'm really happy with this blanket. A very good buy!

I bought these as liners for the winter blankets. I use them when the temps get below 10 or when it is wet and windy. They keep the horses nice an cozy. the fleece is thicker then I thought and the construction is good. I bought them one size up and they fit great. the only thing I do not like is the belly strap that is underneath the blanket - sometimes it is a bit difficult to fasten and unfasten.
