Can they see thru these masks and at night?
Susie on Aug 2, 2015
Best Answer: Hello, The mesh on this mask is similar to most mesh on fly masks. My horses don't wear their masks at night so I couldn't tell you if they run into things ( and clearly I can't ask them! lol). I am still using the masks I bought a couple of years ago and am pleased with them. I would suggest that at night, take a mask you already have and look through it while outside and determine if you can see, then they could probably see too. Also, I just checked with my trainer and she said their horses have masks on at night and do fine. Good Luck!

how do you know what size to get?
A shopper on Apr 28, 2015
Best Answer: There should be a guide on the website. But really just look ay your horses. Are they big like A large Thoroughbred, or a big Belgian. Or a smaller Arabian, Paso Fino? A medium will fit the average horse. If over 16 handsyou will want a large. I love mine!

what size does quarterhorses that weigh 1000-1200 lbs. wear?
A shopper on Apr 27, 2015
Best Answer: If your horse has a smaller head for a quarter I would say medium. I have saddlebreds and I have only used the large for 2 of mine with larger heads. It doesn't really depend on their body size. The other thing I would take into account is the size of his jowls.

I have a 1700 pound 18.1 hand Thoroughbred rescue and I would like to know if the Large will fit him. I tried a 'Large' adjustable halter on him and it did not fit. How is the sizing - do they run Small?
Tanya G on Jul 24, 2015
Best Answer: They do not run small at all. One of my three QH mares has a large head and she has plenty of room. I don't know if it would be large enough for horse but this mask is so affordable that I would give it a try. Also ask stateline if they would let you return it if it doesn't work. They are great folks to work with and as long as it's not dirty they might let you. I hope this helps.
