GREAT affordable mask, 8/23/2010
Lana from

These masks fit great and I LOVE the double velcro closure. The velcro has worn out now though so expect to buy a new one every year.

Great Fly Mask, 8/22/2010
Rachel from

I LOVE this mask! It fits my horse very well. The quality is great. I love how it is outlined in fleece for comfort. I have everyone in the stable buying this mask. They all love it, as well.

AMAZING!!, 8/21/2010
Ashley Turner from

I love these masks. I have never had a brand last as long as these. Supermask doesn't even come close. I do miss the ones with the neoprene edges though, they were stretchy so if it got caught on a fence it slid right off.

Working Out Great, 8/10/2010
DM from

This mask has held up and stayed on for (what is up until now) two months-even while the horse is loose on his 1/2 acre area doing all kinds of activities-and it still looks in good condition. I will buy it again

Great Product, Great Price!, 8/8/2010
Coco'sMom from

I have used these masks for 2 summers now. They do stand up to the punishment my very mouthy horses like to dish out. I really like the two straps...my horses can't get them off of each other.

Excellent mask for the price, 8/7/2010
catsnhorses from

Our Tenn. Walking Horses are hard to fit with fly masks. These are the BEST fitting masks I've found anywhere, at any price. They're durable (I'm still using some from last summer), they fit really well on our horses' long broad faces, and the price is great. I won't buy another brand of fly mask.

Great fit at a great price, 8/2/2010
Cheryl Brown from

I ordered 10 masks w/ears - 7 small and 3 medium for my Paso Finos. I will definitely order more, but probably some w/o the ear covers as 3 of the 10 wearing the masks ripped the ears covers to shreds - not sure if they had 'help' or did it themselves. Otherwise the masks have held up very well to use by a variety of ages and stabled/pasture horses. I also bought a set of the fly cover boots for one mare who is tormented by flies on her front legs - major improvement although they did slip a bit. The only real problem we have had is when I adjusted a mask too tightly on one horse who is stabled with a mouthy colt and it rubbed the hair off under his jaw. We loosened the straps and no more problems.

Best mask out there!, 8/2/2010
Karen from

I have youngsters that like to pull masks off my mare that has fly and sun sensitivity and require a mask during the day. These stay on. And my mare finds it so comfy that she does try and rub it off. Great fit and plenty of room in the eye area. I won't buy another brand again.

Defender Fly Mask, 7/30/2010
Cheryl Mapes from

These masks hold up to daily use very well and are a great value for the money. They go on easily, and stay on very well. No rub marks as they are nicely fleeced. Mine have lasted almost 3 seasons with almost daily use. I recommend these for price and quality.

I prefer these above all others, 5/9/2010
Robin from

Bought these because of price. They have lasted longer than any others I've used and they fit my Morgans and Quarters perfectly. After a year or so the velcro can weaken so I keep a supply on hand.

Defender Fly Mask w/o ears, 4/29/2010
Gale Winston from

I've used these fly masks on my three horses (med & large sizes - warmblood, TB & Arab) for 3 seasons. The first time I bought the mask, it only fit my narrow-faced TB, and the ear space was a little tight. Defender has since changed the pattern, currently giving the horses more ear space and better space over the eye and width across the forehead. Fit & durability are equal to Farnham. Overall a good value and kudos to the new design!

Good Value!, 4/28/2010
Tanya from

These tend to run a little on the small side. But they hold up decent, usually 1 season anyway. Good value for the horseperson that needs to buy a lot of them.

Great product, 4/19/2010
Amber from

My horse is very good at getting his masks off. This is the only one I have found that stays on. Fit is great. My friend buys them for her 20 horses and loves them also. Great deal! Probably won't fit supper large horses as well. I have a 16h horse and fits the large perfect.

Highly recommend, 5/3/2009
Karen W. from Oregonia, Ohio

Great product and super price! My two horses are very playful and destructive. The double velcro is strong and stays in place. The fit is excellant and the seams do not rub the eye area. They look great in it too! Highly recommend this mask.

disposable mask, 8/31/2008
Elizabeth Brooks from Virginia

The mask lasted about one day on my horse who had just gotten stitches. Once the mask came off it took me forever to find it. I never did find the nose piece. Now i have to find a new mask to cover her eye while it heals. Dont buy this mask if you plan to use it for more than one day.

not so great., 7/21/2008
Alex from VA

We have about 50 horses at my barn and so you can imagine how many fly masks that is and how we need them to last. We bought some of these because they were cheaper than the others and were a great buy. Little did we know that the fit wouldnt be so great. We tried them on and found out that the eye holes were too close to the horses face. they dont give the horse enough room and are cut very close to the face. On the other hand they have held up really well and havnt torn and the elastic is a nice feature. Too bad the fit isnt very good. I wouldnt recomend it.
