Ditch Jumper from Virginia
We use a lot of these around our farm but this is a poor imitation of the original product. The latch wasn't made properly so the ring just fell straight down. I had to put in our vice and bend the metal in order for it to work. I wouldn't purchase another

I have these on all of my stall gates and have baught enough for all my other gates as well. They are strong and make it easy to open and close the gate one handed.

i have a miniature pony and a small horse and my mini broke the chain she pushed right between the gate and the post and the pin came out and we live right beside a highway the only thing that kept the horse from getting through was a lead rope on the gate good thing i had it tied on too

I LOVE these latches!! I have used them for years. You can open & close them easily with one hand. Sometimes I have to use a longer chain depending on what I am putting it on. I also usually use eye bolts instead of the staples that comes with it. I have never had a horse figure out how to open it. I have them on every gate.

I was using bungee straps for my gates...I replaced them with these...what a difference! I did however use eyebolts also...you can't beat these latches!

works great at every gate. Stronger then the chain that comes with the gate. Can be mounted in lots of different positions. I'm putting them on all my gates!

Easy to work one handed, and my horse can't figure it out.

I installed these latches onto my outside gates and inside stall doors. They are easy to maneuver with thick winter gloves on. Easy, one handed, operation. This product has made my life in the barn so much easier. Durable and easy to install. We did however use an eye bolt instead of the big nail provided.

I keep my horses at a local co-op farm of friends. I have 4 miniature horses one of which is vary hard to catch when he gets out. I was having trouble with gates being left open. I replaced almost all of the latches (bungee cords, chains & snaps etc.)with these and have had very few problems since. I HIGHLY recommend them!

I've bought several of these and they are great for ease in latching/unlatching. However, it is more secure with eye hook vs. nail provided. My horses have pushed on the gate and the nail came out. Typically the chain is not long enough. Like I said, it's a good concept.
