Good price and need them in 2-3 weeks. Hope they work well for my 11 year old granddaughter. She only shows x2 per year.

I needed new boots and from the reviews these seemed like the right chose.

how do you measure for the inside top and the inside calf?
Danielle on Aug 1, 2014
Best Answer: While seated, with your feet flat on the floor and your knees at a 90 degree angle, measure the circumference of each calf at the widest part, and also just under the crook of your knees. Make sure you measure both legs - they are not necessarily the same size and, if so, you should order based on the larger numbers.

This is my first pair of tall boots are the good my first pair?
A shopper on Dec 6, 2014
Best Answer: They're "ok" but if you ride a lot, they will not last. I liked mine, but went and bought a synthetic pair of Middleburgs after my North Parks fell apart (I only got 18months out of mine) My favorite leather boots are my OLD Dublins (from 2010,they are so very cheaply made now, I would never buy another pair) and my Ariat tall boots.

I can't tell, but do these boots have a zipper?
Gels19 on Aug 19, 2014
Best Answer: yes, the boots have a zipper. Make sure you keep it lubricated with zipper cream or vaseline on a regualr basis. Otherwise, over time the zipper tends to stick at the bottom around the ankle area when zipping up or down.

Was does it take 1-2 wks to ship; where are you shipping from?
A shopper on Oct 17, 2014
Best Answer: This boot ships directly from the manufacturer. Sizes with a longer shipping time are most likely manufactured as the orders are received.

Which pair of boots are better?

DevonAire Ladies North Park Field Boot 11.5 XWide
DevonAire Ladies North Park Field Boot 11.5 XWide
Saxon Equileather Ladies Field Boot 9.5 Wide
Saxon Equileather Ladies Field Boot 9.5 Wide
Best Answer: The Devon Aire boots will last longer but are much stiffer to start. My daughter has gone through at least 3 pairs of the Saxon Equileather boots. She absolutely loves them from the minute she puts them on, but unfortunately, they do not last. They are inexpensive and comfortable, but be prepared to buy a new pair every year. So far, once the Devon Aires broke in, they seem to be holding up much better than the Saxons, but we have gone through boxes of band aids during the breaking in period. The Devon Aires seem to run small and the Saxons are true to size.

the boots are plastic or leather ?
alexia r on Apr 5, 2014
Best Answer: The inside of the boots say "man made upper man made lining and sole." I guess that means that parts of the boot is leather while others are not (at least I think). If that is the case I cannot tell which is parts are leather or not. I've had these boots for two years wearing them for shows and clinics, besides a mark or two on each boot they still look brand new to me. They grip to the side of my saddle very well and I don't feel as though my leg is sliding around. They even survived a total three hour pour down at a show last summer, when I took them off after my classes water poured out of them. These are the most comfortable boots I've had. I'm an easy person to please but I think if you go with these boots you will love them! I hope I helped.

Is the ball of the foot cut wide or narrow? I have a wide foot as well as a wide calf. This is the only boot I can find in a 6.5 with a calf wide enough, but I need to know if it'll fit my foot as well!
caroline i on Jun 10, 2015
Best Answer: They are actually very wide I had to return them because they were too wide for me. I currently have the extra wide equistar boots and I love them and they fit like a glove. But when I tried on the Devon aire boots when I got them I had a lot of toe room for the foot area but the calf area was my only issue. But I honk these boots would be just fine for what you are looking for. But since you are looking for wide toe areas too I would recommend them

Best Answer: Here is a link to the clickable sizing chart next to the sizing list:

Boot height is measured from the footbed (not from the floor) up the back of the leg to the crook of the knee.
