Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 5 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by love it I wear these often either when at lessons or riding at my friends house. I ride western at my friends house and English at lessons and wear them both places. They're so comfortable and I love riding in them. My instructor said I found a good pair and I should have them for a while. I have had mine for about 4 months and still look like new! You should get a pair, trust me you will love them! :-) December 21, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by Get what you pay for Nice chaps and I liked them but after two weeks they already wore a hole in the the top of the boot area. Still useable but I guess I expected them to wear a little better than that. June 5, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice half chaps I just got these today and tried them on. They fit perfect. The only thing is that when I stood up and walked around a bit, they fell down about an inch and wrinkled, but my legs are short and I think that's why they wrinkled (For them not to be wrinkled, they had to be a little bit on my knees). They're really soft, which I didn't expect (these are my first half chaps) :) April 20, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing pair of half chaps! Since I got these half chaps I have worn them every time I head out to the barn to work and ride. They have held up to mud, snow and my horse pushing against hard-bark trees during trail rides. They are comfortable and keep my jeans clean. I can wear these chaps with either my old western boots or my new English paddock boots. I highly recommend these to any kind of rider. Beginner to advance. Do not let the price fool you, some people think that cheap products are made of cheap material and don't hold up.Honestly, these are great half chaps. Amazing material and the price is ridiculously cheap considering these are the best out there. January 17, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great GREAT Chaps I've had 3 pairs of these chaps. The first pair, I only stopped using after I outgrew them. My second pair, I had for about 5 months, when I was beating the mud off of them on some cement. Unfortunatly, the zipper came off, so they were unuseable. But my third pair, Ive had for about 2 years. They are GREAT, super brethable in the summer, perfect for everyday use. Mine have worn away at the inner calf part, but they are still useable. Deffinatly would reccomend. 100%. September 10, 2011

Are these washable?
A shopper on Mar 3, 2015
Best Answer: They ares, but just get as dirty the next wearing... I've learned to just hose them off and maybe use a brush every now and then. They don't last long if you wash them; however, they last a very long time if you just rinse the horse 'salt' off them now and then. I just wear them in the summer and I wear leather ones in the winter. I really enjoy them. Have a brown and black pair. Great for summer riding. Enjoy :) Arleen

what ''medium'' in shoe size?
bitania t on Aug 3, 2014
Best Answer: Doesn't matter what shoe size. Measure the length of the calf from just below bend in back of knee down to just below ankle bone. Match measurement with size that matches the length of the half chap. In the past, I have ordered two different sizes and either returned a pair or sold them to another rider.

Can you tell me how to measure for the height on the Easy Care Mesh Half Chaps? My calf is 14" but I'm only 5'2" and my calf height is 13"-15" depending if I measure to the ground or to ankle bone. Thanks.
Marlene M on Jul 26, 2015
Best Answer: Measure around the widest part of each calf. Then, with no shoes on, sit down with your knees at a 90 degree angle & measure the back of your leg from the floor up to the crook of your knee. Someone else may need to help you with this for accuracy. There is a stretchy panel to help customize fit, but if your measurements are at the top edge of a size, you might want to go larger. A little too loose can usually be helped by extra socks. A little too tall is usually okay because they're soft and will crinkle at the ankle.
