Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 7 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Boots Paying a bit extra for real leather pays off. Ordered my usual size 9 and they fit perfect: with both thin and thick socks. They break in after two wears (way faster than expected) and are the most comfortable boots I've owned. I love them and would certainly recommend them. October 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by DUBLIN laceup boots have been trying to find my size for close to 5 years in any boot shop.... nothing ever to try on in an 8 N, so decided to do the mailorder thing. size 8 worked, and was able to wear a white cotton ribbed calf sock or mans dress sock and both work ok. the laces were fed in wrong, so once I relaced them traditionalY , they pulled tighter with less stress on the laces. they are light, didn't need any "break in" time (wore them 4+ hours the first chance I got!), and i noticed right away the extra support around my ankles--i like it!. as to price..... i did actually find a brown pair of JUSTIN lace-ups (heavy, not as nice looking)while researching stateline boots, and feel i got just what i wanted/needed for WAY less. I wear ROPERS to ride anyway, so have the best of both worlds now.(the brown is dark, almost black on my pair) June 28, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Product AND service This is our daughters second set, the first just wore out, we ordered just before Christmas 2011, we did NOT expect them to be in time (we ordered late)we were wrong... came home today and the box was at our door, WOW. THANK YOU (oh and shoes look GREAT!!!) December 23, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Boots for the Price I bought these boots to show in and they work great! I don't ride in them alot, but they work very good for what I need them for. Very stiff when I first got them, but they loosened up quickly. 4 STARS! November 7, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good boots I've owned these boots for well over 6 months, using them almost daily for exercising my horse. They fit my slightly wide 8.5 size feet pretty comfortably - and I'm picky about shoe fit. I've worn them in deep mud and low water - they've kept my feet dry. My feet have been fairly cool in the summer as well. The leather has stayed nice. I have worn the laces out & had to replace those, but that's more me and how hard I pull on the laces. Other than that, these boots have held up really well! I do clean mine if they get excessively muddy and keep them oiled with neatsfoot oil - helps them shed the mud. I highly recommend these boots and will buy them again when my current pair wears out. October 27, 2011
Rated 4 out of 5 by Can't Beat the Value These boots break in quickly and are extremely comfortable. I have worn them for show and everyday, I am buying a second so I have a nicer pair for shows. Excellent value for the price. April 11, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent boots... You get what you pay for and these are very inexpensive boots. I actually really like them. Come out of the box stiffer than cardboard, but mink oil and a few days of wear softened them up. I bought new insoles for them for some more cushioning. I have wide feet and they fit great, very true to size. I actually bought them because no department stores carry lace up boots anymore. From my young riding days I decided paddock boots would be close enough. I teach elementary school and wear them all day 2-3 times a week (casual dress code where I teach) and I think they are fine. I am splurging on Ariats next time now that I know they are like a fashion accessory for me! ;-) Many of my non-horsey colleagues have complimented me on them too! December 11, 2009

I was worried about buying cheaper boots but these are very durable and comfortable. I highly recommend. Fits true to size. Mine are still going strong and I have had them for over a year now and I don't baby them...in fact I haven't cleaned them once.

I had these boots year ago and loved them. Recently tried a different brand, but have not been satisfied, so I decided to go back to Dublin.

I wanted an economy boot made of leather, not synthetic.

On a scale of 1-10,10 being best, how durable are theses?
    Ilovehorses on Jul 16, 2015
Best Answer: I'd give these boots about a 7 for durability. But, I've had these boots close to two years, and I ride in them and wear them at the barn while I'm grooming and tacking up, etc. around three times a week. They've been great! The boots are leather, they're comfortable, and for the money you can't beat them! Right now, mine are still in very good condition but I may have to replace the laces before too long. Easy fix!

    Are they leather?
    Ilovehorses on Jul 19, 2015
Best Answer: Mine are black and they are leather. Not as good quality leather as my Justin lace up Ropers. But Justin doesn't make women's lace up Ropers anymore. Tried a similar style in another more expensive brand and they didn't fit well. These fit well. I have not worn enough to know how well they will break in and hold up in the long run. Hope this helps

Do these boots fit to the true size?
    Felicity O on Dec 27, 2013
Best Answer: Yes, these boots are pretty much true to size. My daughter and I both have a pair and we wear them with light to medium weight socks. We both have wider feet and they are ok, they would probably be perfect for a normal width foot.

    are these boots comfortable?
are they only for riding or everyday use?
    rowshanak . on Dec 18, 2013
Best Answer: As with any new boot they need a little breaking in but very comfortable. I've worn them mostly for riding but good for around the barn, groundwork, even to the grocery store. I've bought numerous pairs because I like them :-)
