I have owned these boots for quite a few months now and there holding up great! There easy to clean off, and my trainer says they look good enough to show in!But when it comes down to cleaning them
directions may say to only clean with water but if you do they scratch easy and look dull. So I started using my Dad's shoe polish on them and they are holding up great and look much better too. And
when it comes down to ordering sizes you should stick with your calf size but go up a shoe size. That's what I did and they fit great. There are pretty hard to wear in though. I have been riding frequently and there still stiff. But other than that I,am very happy with them and highly recommend them!

I've owned these for 3 years, didn't think they'd last that long! Hose them off & they look brand new. I'm very thin, narrow foot and usually wear a 7, I had to order up a size so that I could get them on, and I have very small calves. I would suggest ordering up a size. Very comfy, I wear this to do all sorts of chores and my feet stay warm and dry. Nice soft lining. I would buy these again.

Love these boots, have had a pair for years that I loved, but decided to get a new pair. Either they make them slimmer in the calf area, or my calves have gotten bigger. I can barely get them on. Fit perfect in the foot, however. Going to exchange for a wide, and hope they are not much wider in the feet.

When I started hunt seat, I chose to spend the least amount of money possible and these were my first choice. However, when I got them I was suprised that the wide calf was not wide at all. Besides the sizing issue, I had problems with the lining. After more than six months, the lining began to wear down and the padding began to break down. This has never happened with any boots I have worn and I took the best care of them as possible. However, for the price, it is a reasonable boot. I recommend buying a size bigger. I also recommend that you dont wear these long because they can end up hurting your feet and legs.

This is the first review I have EVER written about a product online. I have been riding for over 20 years and have never, ever had to order a wide calf. However, this boot's calf width is veryyy narrow.
I sent them back for a wide and hopefully that will fit better. They are awesome quality, appeal, and material. However, the calf is just wayy to narrow. Please keep that in mind for ordering. In my life, I have always worn a reg. calf...these are the first wides I have ever ordered!

I have been looking for a good sturdy pair of tall boots that will stand up to anything . . . . . . . . and these inexpensive boots did the trick! I did however, have to send back my first pair due to sizing issues but did eventually find the right size. They are well made and stylish, working perfectly for a long day at the barn or a small schooling show. And if they become caked with mud, just hose them down! They work wonders in the Winter, with a warm lining but are still light enough for Spring and Summer. When I first saw these, the price made me quizzical about the quality of this boot but I was pleasantly surprised! I know these boots will be useful for any equestrian occasion! -EquestriANN

So everyone said these boots run small, so I ordered one size larger than normal with a Wide calf. The part just around my feet fits perfectly. I have a wide foot but with the extra size my foot fits perfect, no pinching or toe scrunching. The inside is very nice as well as the rubber that makes up the boots. The only concern I have is for the calves. I measured my calf and it should have fit except I forgot one crucial point: Pants. I've tried jeans and leggings since my riding pants haven't arrived yet. I can just barely get the left boot all the way up and there's no hope for the right one. It WILL NOT fit around my calf. Now I should have known better and measured when I had pants on, but the reason I'm giving a low rating is because it's ridiculous to think that I wear boots all the time that go round my calves or even up to my thigh and I've never had a problem, and then I get a wide calf boot and it's to small. That's just ridiculous how small the calves run.
Despite the small size of the calve I WOULD in fact recommend these to a friend, with caution. They are good quality boots. Instead of returning them I'm going to have elastic inserted into the top of both boots. So if you have thinner calves these would be perfect for you. My thicker calved friends: Proceed with caution.

The previous reviews helped me to get the right size boot. I normally wear a U.S. size 8 or 8.5... depending. I ordered the size 9 but was still worried since everyone said they run small... Well... They fit my feet great! They are a little hard to get on but I'm sure over time they will get more relaxed and supple. They fit my calves great, too. I made sure I measured my calves before ordering though,to make sure that they were within the guideline. Overall, I am very happy with this boot. They're not the high quality I will want in the show ring, but they're perfect for everyday riding and wear, which is what I ordered them for. I hope this helps!

I ordered wide but won't fit my calves. Top circumference is 15" in 9 wide. returning.

I was surprised by the odd fit of these boots. I normally wear a 7 1/2 so when I ordered an 8 Regular I thought they would fit. My toes were at the end of the boot and in the heel my foot rose up from the bottom of the boot when I walked. The calf of the boots were also too tight. I'm sorry that I had to return them due to an odd fit as they were very nice looking boots. Just be aware that the sizes do run small and they have an odd cut so you can adjust your size as needed.

Bought these as my first riding boots, their horrible! I've worn them for lots of rides and they still havn't loosened up, they are very stiff and do not look very nice. They majorly hurt your ankles and dont allow you to put your heels down in the correct position. I highly reccomend not buying these...

I have muscular calfs so these did not work for me. Instead of spending money to send them back I cut small slits in the back which sense then I have had to wrap duck tape(black) around it to stop the ripping! I wear the heck out of these things at home so that's ok. I have since bought two pairs of half chaps which I dislike more so than these rubber boots. I really did like these but will not buy again because they do not fit my leg.

Not good for people with big calfs. Can't really stretch them out and I couldn't even get them on. They were only 40 dollars so I didn't return them but if you have bigger calves, these are NOT the boots for you.

I absolutely love these boots even though I do not even own a horse I do not even ride. But they are completely functional as something i wear every day. The only thing is if you choose this boot. please get one size bigger than you wear normally!

These boots were my first pair. I kept them for nearly two years and they held up extremely well. The boots I have now do not compare to the quality of these, and I paid almost double due to difficulty with shipping(I tried a different company, my mistake for not using SLT)charges. The only reason I felt the need to update was I outgrew them! They do wear a small, small bit where the stirrup rubs, but that is only to be expected. I will definitely buy these again!
