GREAT Show Halter!, 11/27/2011

Horse from San Fran

This halter is a great show halter! I use it about 15 times a year to go to the big shows. Its been going on its 3rd year! It looks great on my Havana colored Warmblood! Yes I would not recommend that this be worn as a daily everyday halter for the bolt snap will come loose, But people, this is a CHEAP halter do not expect the best and greatest quality.

Leather halter, 11/14/2011

Michelle huff from Germantown, tn

Ok people, that's why it called ECONOMY halter. For $16 you couldn't even hope to get something this nice. Not fancy, not highest quality, come on people, we are in a recession! Learn to make do or dodo without and stop crying over spilled champagne and be grateful you actually still have a horse you can put this "mid-grade" halter on. Michelledenisehuff@gmail.com. Best wishes

Bad Quality, 7/23/2011

Bailee from New Iberia, LA

I bought this halter for a friend for Christmas. At first, it looked great on her QH but within the first WEEK the snap broke and the leather is very thin. I suggest that you don't waste your money on this and save it for a better made one.

poorly made, 9/15/2010

this halter looks good in the picture but is poorly made. if u get it wet, it will begin to tear fall apart within a few days. i would find a higher quality halter for horse shows.

keep shopping, 6/11/2010

Thought I was getting a decent halter for a reasonable price. The picture and description made it sound like a smart purchase. Instead I received a cheap, stiff, poorly made halter. I used it for turnout purposes while I continued looking for a nicer, quality made, leather halter in which this was originally intended. The snap broke within a week. This halter will disappoint and is not worth the price you pay for it.

Good Halter, 2/4/2009

Jenn from Hartselle, AL

This is a very good leather halter for the price. It is functional and stylish at the same time. It fits my Quarter Horse mare very well. If you need a quality leather halter for a reasonable price, then I would definitely recommend this halter.

Picture is better than actual product, 11/10/2008

Redheaded Rider from East Coast

The picture of this halter makes it appear to be nice quality leather and sturdy. In actuality, the leather is thin and cheap and feels almost like cardboard. It is definitely not worth the price based on the quality of leather. In addition, the buckle connected the throatlatch to the cheekpiece breaks very easily. I would not recommend this halter as it did not hold up and my horse only used it for turnouts and basic grooming and is an older, retired horse who pretty much takes it easy.
