Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice pad My horse has low withers and his saddle slides a little forward. This pad completely prevents the sadlde from sliding. It isn't as soft as I would like but nice pad1 March 13, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by I like it, my mare loves it! My mare is extremely picky about what tack touches her body. I've gone thru countless saddle pads and THIS is the winner!! My mare didn't even flinch. She lowered her head and started to chew. Shock absorbing foam is thin but enough to work and instantly make your horse more comfortable under saddle. February 22, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not that great I bought this pad to help out my 13 year old Thoroughbred gelding who has prominent withers and a steep shoulder. The pad is made well, but it isn't very soft. I thought the padding would be thicker and more, well, shock absorbent, but it isn't very squishy at all. Also, the cotton pad is felted and doesn't have any give in the quilted parts whatsoever. So, that part isn't soft or shock absorbent either. All in all, not a very comfy pad. November 1, 2010
