Horse Tack

I wrote a review here earlier and I would like to update that now that I've had this saddle for 7 months. It is a very ggod saddle, the leather is very high quality, but very stiff and thick. I have been oiling it with extra virgin olive oil and soaping it frequently and it is beging to supple, making an incredible saddle. Squeaks are at a minimum and it is quite atractive. The leathers at a little long for jumping (I'm 5'5 1/2") The girth is black and nylon, not the best, but useable. The saddle pad is mostly nylon and it's small, and it only looks good with a brown saddle. The bridle is wonderful after oiling it, I still find it hard to take apart and put togerther though. The leathers wear, and I don't like them at at. The saddle has started to go brown in places on the flaps, which drives me crazy. It' also a bit heavier than most saddles. In the picture, it shows some parts as gold, everything is silver, and the little piece on the bridle is not there(which looks better). It will fit a large horse well. I've had it on narrow horses and wide horses alike and it fits them all. The bridle it designed for an average horse but can be adjusted to fit smaller or larger ones. I recomend an investment in another saddle pad, and maybe another girth. A very good, afordable package, well, made, high quality, stiff at the begining, but a good choice. One thing I would like to suggest, a brown saddle. It's far eaiser to find afordable leathers, bridles and cavesons(nosebands), that are real leather, in brown than it is in black. The black is unique and not many have black english saddles, but brown would be an eaiser, more classic choice. I do find that I can soap and oil this saddle much eaiser than my brown saddle, because it doesn't get stained and streaked like the brown one. There is also alot of padding to hold begginers in. A great saddle!

The saddle and bridle are way too big to fit an arabian. The saddle just fits akward on a horses back and even if i punched new holes in the bridle as far as it could go, the bridle would still be way too big for my arabian. Otherwise, it's a pretty good set for starters.

I bought this saddle as a second saddle, and I am not impressed with it. The saddle is stiff, even after 20 or so rides. The billets are really short, so I had to buy a new girth to fit my horse. The color also wore off of it quickly. For the price, I prefer the economy saddle package StateLine offers. I've been riding in that saddle for three years and love it.

I love this saddle it is amazing. This is my first saddle and it is the best. I love my saddle pad it is my old school colors. Great bridle. My favorite part is how comfortable it is. I would say buy it to anyone in the world and you should.GETTTTTT ITTTTT !!!!!!!!!

This saddle has really high quality leather, it will last very long, it is comfortable and is very pretty. It sitts high on most horse's back unless they have a very bony back. The saddle pad started coming apart before I even used it. The girth isn't bad but I'll be buying a new one olus, it's to small for a 15.1 mare I ride but I fits my 14.3 mare very well. The saddle was very stiff but that was because it was so new and the leather was such high quality. The girth is a plain black nylon girth. The stirrup leathers are good quality but the black is rubbing of and it looks cracked, also when I put the leather on the inside rubbed and left awful looking marks. I'm about 5'3" or 5'4" and I put the leathers in nuber seven but a friend's leathers that I borrowed have to be in the ninth hole and I wrap the leathers around the stirrups once so that I can use them, so if you're really tall than you need to get other leathers. The briddle is really nice and it fits my little mare. The knee rols are huge and there is alot of padding all over. I like it over all and my mare does well in it. This is my first saddle but I've used just about every saddle there is and this one is great!

Love it! I wish the seat was a bit more comfortable and that the sirrup leathers were a little softer,and it tend to slip a bit on my horses back must most likely it's just my horse! :)Oh and I think you should be able to choose a bit size, my bit was too small for my horse. The saddle pad isnt the best but oh well :) I love this product- it's my first saddle. I HIGHLY reccomend this product!! :)
