I received the wrong one and it had a what appeared to be a melted spot on it. I returned it (without any problems) and opted to not get the one i ordered because it was made by the same manufacturer and figured the quality would be about the same. I realize it was only $240.00, so if this is what you get for $240.00 I will fork out the extra and get a better one. Don't get me wrong it is usable but I personally don't think it will last very long.

when i got this thing out of the box the first thing i noticed was the smell. but that wasn't really what i was worried about. when i looked at the saddle, it looked a little large, but that's because i ordered a 17, and got an 18 inch oh well, not a big deal. the billets are made of some re-enforced material that are stronger than leather i guess. the stirrup leathers are made of the same thing, and are pretty nice looking, the stirrups themselves are just the regular looking style and get the job done. the girth is waaaaaay to big for my Haflinger gelding. a 50 inch girth is a little over the top. the reins seem a little uncomfortable on the hands, but at least i have another set. over all, the saddle is good for its price, and fits my wide cob style horse well.
