Wonderful for extra padding..., 4/13/2013

Works wonderfully as extra padding for horses with regular backs, wouldn't recommend for overly sensitive horses. Easy to take care of, doesn't slip, curves to horse's back nicely. Doesn't get as hot as normal half pads. Not recommended to be put in washing machine. However; it is quite small and doesn't fit a saddle larger than a size 16". Overall it is a wonderful product to aid in back protection.

I ordered this for my high withered ottb mare. I love it, was very impressed with the quality. It works gr8 and really made a big difference with the saddle fit and comfort to my mare

pretty good pad, nice and thick, and great price for its quality! But- once u wash it the fleece gets all bunchy and bally, and the pad tends to be a bit small for most saddles :L so i suggest medium/large ponies saddles and small horse saddles for this pad.
