Rated 3.6 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Tub lasted one season, leaked the next I ordered two tubs last season. One leaked and the company immediately sent another without my having to send the other back, which was great customer service. The two tubs were great all winter. I stored them in my shed over the spring and summer and just took them out to use for winter. Unfortunately, they BOTH now leak out of the heating element at the back of the tub. Very disappointing. Rated 5 out of 5 by Love them! It's been in the single digits and the water hasn't frozen! When it is frigid cold the water still stays cold, which is expected. On warmer days I'm surprised to find the water warm to the touch! My horses love this and I've noticed them drinking more out of these than their stall buckets (a different brand). Highly recommended! December 11, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by HOT HOT HOT My horse is VERY fickle or weird I haven't decided, we moved to N from FL 2 yrs ago and he really loves VERY warm water to drink, even in the summer so this bucket has been a saer espically in the winter when dehydration occurs. Good product for my horse anyway. November 21, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great tub This is a good price, I thought after using it for a few months something was wrong with the thermostat, as the water seems really warm. But I guess that's how it's supposed to work, not sure, will investigate it more. But it's better than the 750 watt one I had, to hot for my small tank, and I don't mind changing the horse's water to give her clean water. March 11, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by 16 gallon heated water tub I purchased this tub a year ago. It has worked great. The water is always thawed. Do have to clean it out a little more often, do to it heats the water to warm. December 24, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by 16 gallon heated tub I bought 6 of these tubs about 5 years ago and I still have three that work. They are GREAT!!!!!!!! October 14, 2009
Rated 1 out of 5 by Heated Tub only lasts 2 weeks When I first saw this product, I thought that it was great and I purchased one. Two weeks after I put it to work, the heating element stopped working and my bucket froze solid. I ordered another one, and once again approx. 2 weeks after installation, the heating element burned out!! My 5gal flat bucket has been working for 5 years now without problem, and this 16gal one lasted 2 weeks! Finding a replacement heating element is also a joke as no one carries one in this size or wattage, so basically I threw I wasted money on this product! March 16, 2009

Why did you choose this? Store
Needed heated tubs, not buckets, for two paddocks in MA. We put 15 gal in each paddock every other day. Perfect size, great price, saved nearly 60 bucks total for 2, which covered the freight with $30 to spare!

How warm does the water get? Can you regulate a thermostat?
Kathy P on Jan 28, 2014
Best Answer: Kathy,
The water stays lukewarm day and night, even on our nights in the single digits. It has a thermostat to keep it at an even temperature, but it cannot be adjusted. We don't find any need to change what it dies automatically. The horses are very happy with it and continue to drink their normal 10 gallons or so a day each. We refill it during the day to keep the level up. The robins and wrens are enjoying it too. They love to swoop down and have a drink and drop in a hollytberry or two in the process. We dump it out every three days or so and give it a good scrubbing to keep algae from building up. We have used a heated bucket for five years, and this year is the first time we had to replace it.
We wish you the best.

can they be put outside, or do they have to be put in stalls?
heatherb on Jan 6, 2015
Best Answer: We have ours outside the barn but it is under the eaves. We are planning to put one completely outside soon (moving cows first as they tend to destroy things) and have done so in the past with no problem. It does say not recommended to use extension cord but we have to do so and use a heavy duty, grounded cord with a ground fault interrupter on it.

How much is shipping?
A shopper on Dec 22, 2014
Best Answer: Not much it was reasonable and worth it. The bucket arrived undamaged and in 3-5 days as promised. The price was $7.00 more at my local feed store So Stateline was the best value for my dollars

I need a heated buckets to use them in Europe (Czech republic). There is electrical power system of 220 V in our country. Is your bucket appropriate to be used in 22OV system? How much is the shipping?
Thank you in advance for your prompt answer.
Best wishes

Best Answer: I think that is question that the manufacturer should answer. I know nothing about electricity. But I love the bucket.
