Good de icer, 1/16/2012

Works well and keeps my 100 gallon rubbermaid tank ice free even at -20. It does not float though and sinks to the bottom of the tank. At first I worried it would burn a hole in the tank but it doesn't even where it touches. The horses don't mind it and it keeps on working. This is year three. So great price and pretty sturdy. It just doesn't float!

Works but Rusts, 11/25/2011

This deicer really works. It never failed and my horses 16 gallon water bucket always remained ice free (even down to the zero mark). However, it always worried me that rust particles would break off and get in the water supply.
