Product Reviews by Customers

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 4 out of 5 by Decent Fly Spray I have used a lot of different sprays and this one works decently well.I concentrate mine 4:1 and I have a lot of gnats, deer flies, and mosquitoes. You have to get them damp so an adjustable sprayer works the best.Doesnt smell bad either(sometimes I spray myself lol)This even works well for horses with sensitive skin;my medicine cap Paint cross doesnt burn or breakout with this spray. The price is expensive but since its a concentrate it evens it out a little. Rated 5 out of 5 by Mix it right, it works! Some of the reviews for this product say that it doesn't work well, but it says on the bottle to mix it stronger if they flies are bad! I always mix it up 4 parts water to 1 part concentrate and the flies stay away! I'm not afraid to get this product on my skin either, it's a lot more human friendly than some of the stronger products out there. Highly recommended! July 26, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed Also went on previous reviews and mixed as directed. Maybe they don't make it the same anymore, because an hour later, the flies were all over the horses - almost as if they were attracted to them. I even directly sprayed a fly a couple of times, and it just sat there and took it. With other sprays, they would fall off dying with one spray. TERRIBLE PRODUCT, extremely disappointed, and a total waste of money. June 29, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Repel-Xp I have used this spray for years now and I find it to be one of the best that I have tried. If there is a better spray, I would buy it! August 23, 2011

Rated 5 out of 5 by REPEL-X great My preference as the best May 16, 2011
Rated 1 out of 5 by Works for a few hours Price seemed ok to me so I got it & within a few hours the flies are back. Did just as directions stated & on the next batch added a couple more oz's. I went by the past reviews when picking since new to buying stuff for a horse & well I want buy this brand again. May 13, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Fly Spray, Hands Down I used this stuff when I was a teenager 30 years ago...remember the red metal tin? I haven't owned horses since I was 18 and the 1st time I used this fly spray again, the smell brought back a flood of memories! Love the smell! But putting nostalgia aside, this is the best stuff out there. I've purchased and borrowed other products and nothing works as well as Repel-X!! Also, because it can be purchased in concentrated form, I can control it's potentcy based upon how bad the flys and mosquitos are. The concentrate is also the best deal for the money compared to 'ready to spray' formulas. I never use anything else now! December 2, 2010

My favorite for years, I like mixing it in either lighter or heavier concentrations depending on the fly population.

Very effective fly spray and for me, I love the smell too. Priced well. Simply it does it's job.

You can mix a strong or less strong emulsion for those horses that are sensitive skinned and tend to break out in hives from other bug sprays.

what size bottle is concentrated?
A shopper on Jun 2, 2015
Best Answer: All of them are concentrated. I bought the gallon size for the reduction in price for volume purchase.

expiration date?
A shopper on Apr 4, 2015
Best Answer: I don't know if there's a printed expiration date, but I lonely use fly spray in the summer and early fall. Any of the concentrate I don't use during that time gets stored in the feed room until the next year. I've never had a problem with it going bad, become less potent, etc.
