This has been my favorite mask for years now, does rub the hairs down on their nose though, buy no sores. Stays on 95% of the time.

I have had this mask for 6 months and it has shown no signs of sores on her face or ripping/tearing! HIGHLY recommend!

Purchased this mask for my Quarter horse this spring and it has really held up wonderfully! No signs of wear and tear, washes easily and fleece still looks fluffy and new as soon as its washed (machine wash, hang to dry). Looks like its going to still be in great condition for next year too! Though next year I think I will get an extra, one to wash, one to wear, it will definately be another Supermask!

These are the only masks we buy. I've had 2 for 2 years and the only thing I've had to fix on them is the straps, which I just resewed on. The last, are durable, can withstand being washed everyday by hand and then in the washer once a week.
great item, great price.

I got this for my horse this year and it is amazing! It keeps the flys really well. This, I am convinced, is the best mask ever! I think it runs true to size and looks great! I have never had it come off and the horse can see very well through it. Don't fiddle around with other products, this one works, has fantastic price tag, and is attractive to boot!

I love these masks, they are the only ones I have ever used on my horses and I've owned horses since 2002. They last forever and I have NEVER had any issues with rubbing like some other reviewers mentioned. I got one with ears for my old Arab mare because her ears would get horribly bitten each summer. The sizes are true to fit. Arab for smaller horses, Horse for 15-16hh and X-Large for anything bigger, I've followed that system for years and never had a mask come off, get flies underneath the mask or had rubs. Love, love, love these masks!

My old pony is blind in one eye so to protect her eye I have a mask on her 24 x 7. I currently own 8 masks because as soon as one gets dirty I put on a clean one immediately. I hand wash with DAWN detergent and towel dry and then hang to dry. I've had 1 where the stitching came out, these tend to weight more than the shimmer masks, they get hard wear and when they start to snag or break around the eye area I replace them. They are washed weekly and hold up well, I don't put them on tight so I don't have any rubs. I don't like a mask that caves in around the eyes and these hold their shape well. I inspect the mask daily for any wear spots and replace or wash. They have been a life saver for my horse and helped reduce eye injuries to her blind eye.

supermask II from Spain - Europe
As you do not send to Europe I order these masks and have them sent to my brother in West Virginia and he forwards them to me in Spain. I think that shows how much I rate the masks. I find them sturdy, hard wearing (my two horses are out all day)and attractive. I did a big order for friends 2 years ago, very successful but too much hassle with the mailing, so just buy them for me now. They do last for more than one season, so work out very economical even with the postage to Europe added on. This year I have bought the new Shimmer- version for a change.

I bought 3 of these For my QH Mare and Gelding, and my pony. Theses fit great, look great! But my gelding's flymask is rubbing him raw where they strap on, other than that they are good masks!

I bought the Arabian size for my Arab and it was doing well for the beginning of fly season. We have terrible flies because of the chicken houses in this area so the masks have to be on night and day. My Arabian started getting rubs on his jaw from the mask and now has them on both sides. :( It's a great mask, but I wish it wouldn't rub his face.

LOVE LOVE LOVE! I have always used this mask and it works well. I have a Quarter Horse And and Arab. My Quarter horse tends to like to rub his head on gate latches and fences. When he does, you would expect his mask to tear....but it doesn't. After a little while they tend to get small holes in the eyes(where the points in the eyes are). Just big enough to let flies in. But I never do find flies in it when I take it off even with the holes. I want to get one with the ears because my horses are prone to getting their ears attacked by flies. Right now, I am putting Desitin in there ears. Oddly enogh, Desitin(i think thats how you spell it :-p) keeps flies out of there ears. But these fly masks work great. The size chart is VERY accurate.
You will like this brand. It is durable and Is very "see-through". My arab, for some odd reason, gets watery, buggery eyes and i put it in the washing machine cause it got gross and it survived!
Get this fly mask. its a good buy

This is the only mas I have ever used. I wish it would repel burrs and flies. I find I have to order a size bigger than before. They last at least 2 summers.

I have used these masks for years and they were better made when they first came out..I now have to get a size larger than we used to and the side edges tend to unravel where they are sewed. But they do stay on the horse.

I use this fly mask every summer for my horses because it is so great. It stays on all summer long and is very durable. I had a different fly mask on another horse and it would always fall off. But this fly mask works great and it is at a great price.

I can't believe that my horses are so much tougher on their masks that I'm the only person who has had problems with these masks. They must have a tremendous mark-up because they are the only masks I can find locally. Based on horse breed the masks come small in the first place, so size up if you are like me and have no other choice in the local stores and are desperate to pick up a mask. Further, the longest any have lasted (I've had 6 for two horses) has been a half season as they come apart too quickly where they are sewn at the clasp and at the trim. The best I can say is that they are average priced and the horses didn't seem to mind them.

I love these Supermasks. I have two mules that 'play' by grabbing each others' masks and yanking. The masks do not come off. They hold up great considering, the mules eventually rip the fleece off the bottom and then the mask slowly falls apart from there. However, at such a great price, I can afford to buy them each a new one when they need it. My horse has been wearing the same Supermask for 2 summers now.

I was given one of these mask with another product promo. Used it a couple of days seemed to need a xlrg size , so purchased another one. He kept this one one alot better. i went to see how or if it was working on him and everything looked good till I removed it and the flys were under it. They had made there way thru the slack on the sides of his face. so I use it with face fly solution. I'm in Texas. WATCH it so that it does not rub above eyes. But its better than ignoreing the discomfort of your horse. I'll use it with care.

I've used this product for well-over five years. And though they have less length on the nose than other products - their durability is unquestionable! I've tried others which only lasted six weeks - yet I've just put the Farnam masks back on the horses yesterday. Masks that survived 24/7 full sun, full weather conditions for over eight months last year. They are just now showing a touch of wear, but are more than usable with a little handstitch repair here-and-there. Since I use them more for helping to shade their eyes and to protect them from eye injuries - a bit more than simply for flies (what can I say, I intend to have fully sighted horses when they are all 30 years old) - I more than appreciate the quality and durability that I've come to expect from this product!

My horse is now sharing a pasture with a rambunctions 4yrold who loves to play flymask tag. This mask with the double velcro is the ONLY mask that stays on through his antics. Even the nibbles around the edges havent torn the heavy mesh. I also like the no ears style since my horse rubs off anything on his ears. This mask works perfectly for me.

My Arab mare normally hates fly masks. Period. She used to spook at them even on other horses! Im not sure why but she loves this one, it stays put, and really helps! We had a bad season of horseflies. Its great for the price, and comes in awesome colors! I recommend it highly!!!!!

I have used the Farnam Mask for several years and have found them to be of excellent quality and recommend them highly. The double latch has prevented them from coming off my horses. I have had very few problems with the masks wearing on the face. I plan to by new ones for next year. The price is very good when compared to that in a retail store.

I have bought other more expensive fly masks but these are still the best. They last forever and other horses can't rip this mask off. I wish it covered lower on the horse's face though, it's a little short.

These are still a great value. Tried cheaper Avenger masks which were coming apart within a few days, whereas, Farnham masks hold up well for months. Well worth a few more dollars...

Got a supermask last year and it is still working great for my Pony! It comes down a little farther on her nose than the horse in the picture so it offers great protection. I have washed it with the pressure washer as well as the washing machine and it is great! Great mask for a great price!

I have ALWAYS loved these masks but have to say that over the past two years they have changed. They are shorter on the nose and are smaller all the way around. Very dissapointing. I guess every body is looking for ways to save money.

This product is a very good one. It is durable and it will stay on. Even if another horse try to rip it off it just does its job and stays on! Might I add, it is very colorful.
