Cribbing and windsucking are oral habits that develop due to stress, environment or feeding practices. Settelex can help reduce these behaviors in horses and ponies. It may also offset some pre-conditions of gastric ulcers by neutralizing harmful stomach acids.

Settelex® should be fed according to bodyweight – (height has been given as a guide) and the amount of concentrate feed given. Introduce gradually, and feed a maximum of three times per day.
Settelex should be added immediately prior to feeding. Avoid feeding large concentrate meals, and always feed at least 1%, and preferably more, of your horse’s body weight per day in fibrous forage. Horses with signs of excess stomach acid should ideally have continual access to forage. Settelex is not intended as a treatment for gastric ulcers – please contact your vet if you are concerned.
