I don't understand why so many didn't like this product. It worked great for us. We have 2 horse's which are boarded with about 25 others. They keep flies off with no problem. Maybe it is the area we live in. I did try the leg bands they were hard to keep on. I am planing on buying them again this year.

dont waste your money!!!! i used this on my horse and it did keep the flies away but he had a allergic reaction and he got a rash where it was and i didnt even have it on tight.

If you are considering buying this product to keep the flies off you horse, DON'T. Save your money as this (like so many other fly repelents) does nothing to keep the flies away. The only product I have found any good is Pyrahna Aerosol fly spray.

I thought this product sounded wonderful...a great way to keep the flies off without using a fly sheet. Boy, was I mistaken! I put them on my horse (I used both the collar and leg bands) and the next day I arrived to find flies crawling all over my horse--right on and next to the bands! It almost seemed as though they ATTRACTED the flies instead of repelled! Do not waste your money.

I thought these looked like a great alternative to a fly sheet--WRONG! I put them on one day and when I came back on the next day the flies almost seemed to be attracted to the things! Flies were swarming all over him--even on and around the bands. Don't waste your money!

As a last resort, I purchased one of these collars last year for my mustang who refuses anything over her ears. I had my doubts, but was pleasantly surprised to find her with very few flies around her face. The 3 stars I gave for Quality had to do with it ripping off her neck, but that was probably more her actions, than the fault of the product. I'm buying another one for her this summer.

i HATE it it is the worst i am 13 and i have a young mustang mare and she was beeing herased by flies so i was talking to my horse trainer about the collars and he said to get the green one so i did well it DONT work the flies are still crawling all over her and they are even crawling on the collar she has had it on 1 day and it hasent worked yet and you can smell it as soon as you walk outside and we have 2 acres and you can smell it all they throughout the yard and the neightbors yard (both) and down the road youd think it being that strong it would work it almost seems to be attracting them
