I want to use these for outside feral water dishes. when the water freezes will these crack when I try to get the ice out?
A shopper on Jan 13, 2016
Best Answer: I don't use mine in an outdoor application. These are polyethylene so I would expect them to tolerate some amount of cold. But as with any plastic, long term exposure to cold could make them brittle and subject to cracking. I would not recommend striking them with any object when they have been in the cold as they may crack just from that. I hope this is helpful. (P.S. I would use warm water to loosen the ice for removal)

one the page it says they are mini, how big are they really?
sophie on May 16, 2015
Best Answer: I don't have one sitting in front of me right now so can't give you the exact quart size but we use these pans to feed our goats and lambs and they easily fit a pound of feed with room to spare. Hope this helps.

What size is it?
Dru Ann V on Feb 11, 2014
Best Answer: I feel as if they're too small.. My horses spill the grain everywhere, with just 1 QT. It's worth what you pay.. If it was bigger I'd me more content! Good for shows or something quick. Not an every day use.
