I have used this product on my horses for the past 3 years and am VERY satisfied. Takes care of our horrible tick problem as well as mosquitoes and biting flies. I have this product on six different horses and it works for everyone.

I usually don't write reviews but I want to help those dealing with the same war that I have been dealing with. This year the sand flies aka biting midges have been TERRIBLE. My horses can never stop moving or else they are eaten alive. I have been covering them with fly sheets and masks, sprays, running mosquito magnets 24/7, UV bug zappers 24/7, feeding garlic, planting garlic and citronella, and the list goes on and on. They have had no relief until Freedom 45. It is like a miracle. Granted, the midges aren't completely gone, but definately about half the number. If you have a problem with midges buy this product, trust me nothing else works!!

Although this product does not help with flies it does make a big difference with ticks and mosquitos. It may work with those tiny midges also. Biting flies - no.

Dont know what the problem was this time but it did not work on any of my horses for one day. I have used this product for years with good results. Don't know if they are making it less effective now. Total waste of my money!

My horse had chronic seepage in her ears, they stank, and she rubbed them until they were bloody. She has not had bloody ears or oozing since I started this product. Even though I tried a similar product for a lower price I found I needed this one as it does not have citrinella in it and I believe she is sensitive to cit. This product worked and the other didn't and as far as I could see the citrinella was the only difference in the products.

I got this for my paint that didn't like to be sprayed. It didn't even work for a day. The moment I put it on a fly landed, and stayed, right where I applied it, not a good sign. He just had to deal with flies until he got used to being sprayed.

Anyone who says this stuff works is wishfully thinking(or delusional)! Do not waste your money on this product. It does nothing but put poison on your horse! Not to mention that it attracts dirt so leaves marks wherever you "spot" it or "streak" it...I am very unhappy with this product and will NOT buy it again next year!

I tried this product for the first time last month, and have noticed a reduction in visible welts on my three quarter horses who are turned out all summer 24/7. They seem to be less bothered by the flies, mosquitoes, and there have been no ticks on them at all! I won't be without it again!

I used a tube of this on each of my horses. I did notice prior to application a pus filled globe underneath my horse's mane - I applied the Freedom 45 to my horse, walked away to get a wipe to pop and remove the pus globe, and upon my return, it had popped and the tick causing the issue was flattened and dead (head and all). This to me is enough to keep using the product year to year.

Started using this in the spring and it made a big difference. You need to keep up with it but it sure helped with the deer flies. I know that it had been too long on our last ride because they were bad. Ordering extra now to be sure I don't run out, since our local store ran out.

after applying this product over a week ago on my 3 horses i see only a minimal difference in the number of flies on them. no difference on the face and legs at all! maybe helping some around their privates? my vet said to only use a herbal spray in combination with this and i have not found an herbal that is effective so overall i am very disappointed in the results

This stuff works great. My horse's tail and main look great for the first time in 3 years. Nothing else for my girl. She deserves the best and she got it now.

I haven't noticed a huge difference in keeping the flies off my horses. However, no more TICKS!

I used this product for the first time on my Quarter Horse mare, and my daughter's pony. I am so happy with the results. I was previously putting fly spray on them once/or twice a a day. Now they have no flies biting them. I will see a fly around the ponies eyes occasionly, but keep a mask on her. Overall I am very pleased and pleasantly surprised with this product.

I find is works well to keep my horse from going nuts especially in spring. I wish is lasted longer than 2 wks...like a month. For $2 a dose that is a good price...better that what you spend on all that spray stuff.

This is the only stuff that keeps the flies off my horse. I recomend using this expecially for horses who are out all the time. Although it is rather expensive it is the only thing i have found that works!
