i love this item because i use it for almost everything to shavings to poop but your price for just the head is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! i could find this at my local feed store (ranch feed) for cheaper!

This is without a doubt the strongest and longest-lasting manure fork available. Were it just a tad stronger, I wouldn't be replacing them at all! One thing--the same one every time--always breaks off after about a year of use in the barn. But that's still considerably better than any other plastic fork and easier to use than the metal-tined versions.

I've had the other plastic rake heads and their tines snap off within a few months of use. I've now had a couple Future Forks for over a year now and still going strong, no broken tines. They may cost a bit more, but they pay for themselves, since I was buying the other replacement heads every few months.
I use these to clean up corrals with shavings as the bedding. If you use straw, you need a metal pitch fork, not even the metal rakes work on straw.

Don't be fool by the generic imitations. This fork is the only one that can pick up and sift thru shavings. Eventually will break a time, but under normal conditions, lasts a long time.

I have used the Future Fork and I have used the plastic forks No comparison. The Future Fork is well worth the small extra price. It is much more durable and lasting.
